FIRST DAY FILMING
Today we were filming in the alleyway near Dalston Juntion. As we were
travelling to our previously chosen location we noticed another small
alleyway on the other side of the road and decided to film there as
there was more graffity and less people. We did all the shots from
different angles which already made about 4-5 base tracks for our video.
Instead of using the necklace we decided to go for 'Beyonce look' and
used a black hat similar to the one she uses in her 'Formation video'.
We also printed dollar notes before the filming and used them as a prop.
The filming itslef went quite well as we managed to take some good
footage.

36) PITCH FEEDBACK
This is the feedback that we had received from our pitch. We received similar feedback:
- Audience needs to be more clear
- Explain thoroughly the concept, even though we understood it, the class did not
-Risk assessment should have been spoken about more
However, things that went well were:
-Very detailed
-Linked it with other music videos
-Showed where we got our influences from
-Thought out well
From looking back at our feedback, we decided to buy our smoke bombs instead of making them as it may cause a lot more harm than we initially thought.

CLASSROOM FEEDBACK AND IMPROVEMENTS
We conducted a mini presentation of our ideas to the class. We were advised to keep the keep all the locations specific and external so that it would link to our song which focuses on immigration. So we decided not to use the idea of the dark room and neon pains; the bathtub with money. This is because it does not link with the rest of the shots.
Instead of using the money, crown and bathtub, we are going to print a couple images of money notes as the song still relates to the idea of money and wealth. However this time we will use it in in alleyway.
We were also advised not to use existing videos for our projection scene, so instead we will record videos of people jumping over the fences and other building and edit it on after effects to create explosion effects.
On the other hand, we received quite positive feedback about our chosen locations and ideas which should allow us to achieve higher standards in our project.

PITCH 14 (ANIMATIC) -MONIKA
This is the animatic story board to show how our ideas are going to look in the actual music video. However, while creating this I noticed that our story board doesn't match with the music as perfectly as we expected it to do, in order to make it look better I added some extra shots and moved some of them around. After doing so the outcome became to look much better and we decided to follow this example when filming our project.
PITCH 1 (SONG CHOICE) - TASMINA
The song that we have chosen is : M.I.A Borders
We chose this song because as soon as we heard the other songs made by this artist, we instantly had multiple ideas and thought it would be best to carry out something we were confident in.
Our video will be different as we are merging similar features seen across the genre into one video. This will be seen as different and hopefully we will be able to exceed the audience expectations.
